Born in 1954 Ken is an academic, married with two grown up children.
He has
held various health, safety and environmental roles since the
1980’s.
Ken
spent the vast majority of his career working for the American owned
global corporation, Mars UK. He worked predominantly in health and
safety before retiring from the business when in the capacity of
Environment Manager.
He then joined
the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) as their
Technical Affairs Manager, a role he
held for two years before
deciding to embark on his own as a self-employed health and safety
consultant.
Ken attained
an MSc in 2002, he is a Charted Safety and Health Practitioner, a
Chartered member of IOSH,
(e.g. CMIOSH).
Ken is also currently vice-chairman of the HSEs Working Well
Together (WWT) Group for Leicestershire,
Northampton and Rutland, which aims at improving health and safety
in the construction industry.
Outside
of work Ken enjoys playing golf, motor racing and generally having
fun. |
