The NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Safety and
Health provides a good foundation and the underpinning knowledge in health and safety for managers, supervisors and employees with health and safety as their specific roles and responsibilities.  No previous knowledge of health and safety is required. 

This Nationally recognised qualification is recommended as a first step towards a career in heath and safety and is accepted by IOSH – the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health – in meeting the academic requirements of Technician Membership of IOSH (Tech IOSH).

NEBOSH General Certificate Examination is held nationally four times per year, once every quarter. The course will subsequently be run one day a week over thirteen weeks, but alternative arrangements can be made if this is not suitable.
